Gn tc sd ;)

Every night she messages him goodnight. But does that mean she thinks of him every night?
For him, not even a single day can pass by without her thoughts....She was a special friend; or may be even more, but never did he get a chance to read her mind. And most of their conversations veered into random paths hardly ever touching the chord of his problem, or should I call it his malady?

Watching the sunset sitting alone on the promenade, all her memories came back.He can just pick up his phone and dial the one number he knows by heart. He never saved it, because he knew he would never forget it.He was sure that the warm greetings on the other side would melt his resolve and would make him a puppet in the hands of fate.Silence is beautiful, he always argued with himself. But sometimes it is frightening...
Just a few months back, he had lived through the best moments of his life and he could recall every second of it. The joyous evenings spent singing with her, the long walks along the lake...He always wished if only he had met her earlier; may be he would have had a better chance. And then another part of him told that when it comes to time, quality matters not the quantity.
On the last day, he saw her lugging her suitcases through the corridor. She was waving goodbye to her friends. She smiled at him and asked him to join her.He helped her with all her luggage and looking directly into her eyes asked her, "Will you miss me?".She smiled, winked and replied, "Every moment!"
If only he had replied, "I would miss you too, because you are my love, my life, my heart and my pulse!"

Sitting idle at the promenade he realized that all the choices he made in life mattered the least to him, but this choice was something he cannot postpone. He had to act.The loin was wrapped around thorns and only patience and skill can retrieve it.

Mantra had literally cast a spell on him.She was messaging but with care not love. She was kind and affectionate, not passionate. And all Arpit could think of was love and not friendship.

The story revolves around how Arpit deals with his malady called love. How does he rise in love?If and how he can get Mantra to reciprocate?

It takes a day!

It takes a day-
A day to change your thoughts,
A day to enjoy life's best,
A day to cry over sorrows,
A day to forget the rest,
A day to laugh like a child,
A day to remember the best,
And a day- just a day to fall in love...
In love with all things around,
In love with people all around,
In love with natural beauty abound,
And in love with life itself,
And still in love with yourself........

Colored Lenses

I walk alone, I look wide  far;
The world is blue & truly par,
I cross the fence & sprint towards the setting sun,
Still the world seems so very blue,
And just this feeling that its not true,
I stop a while & realise,
That I ve been a fool all this while,
Then I take off my little colored lenses,
My lil colored lenses........

Enigma

A mystery of sorts,
a discovery awaited,
an angel or demon:
still to be noted.
An enigma with reason,
an intrigue without any,
if fire were cool,
it might not be a treason.
Silent compassion,
shy reluctance,
if all these are fun,
just lose all caution.
A secret untold,
a desire unkempt,
an affair or not:
passion might unfold.

An engima, a puzzle or whatever you call it,
it remains unsolved and waits for an answer......

Lust

Those nerves of strength running through his hand,
those muscles pulling hard,
like metal over rubber they complement,
like water and oil they rarely blend,
those limbs of a man and that speed of an animal,
those hard stares and fierce attitudes,
that strength and the power,
that silent demeanor which makes one hover,
they pull apart and command;
they call unto and demand;
like a rabbit in its burrow: just stuck but not scared,
like a horse in a race with a handsome face,
all these and many more, noticed but yet untold,
all of it relished in thoughts: seemingly quite bold,
Some like it, but not bare,
Some fear it, but fear is thrill,
Its hidden, if under a hood,
If its lust its quitely understood.........

Primates

One of the best spiritual entourages I ve been to has been to a hill temple at Shollingur...Its marvellous and scenic. Both peaceful and exciting at the same time. The story goes that inorder to cool down after killing Hiranyakashyap, Lord Narasimha came to the main hill and rested in yogic posture at its peak.Alongside there is another smaller hill where Lord Hanuman is in a similar posture. It is proved that the line of sight between the two idols match perfectly as if one were teaching the other....!
I climbed a total of 1308 steps up the first hill, and 805 steps up the second hill : all in a matter of hours :P...I guess some divine force was at work ;)
But the best part of this journey were the monkeys all around...I ve captured some exciting clicks: some of which I treasure the most...Check them out :)

My destination!!

Now my journey:

Chalo lets have breakfast !

We two ours one :P!!

Oh...please wake up for the family pic atleast :P!!

I wont share... :/

Down the rocky hill!!

Introspection: life is long and tough!

Wake up dad!!

Should I say 'Cheese' or 'banana'??

Planning...
Now he escapes...
Still a long way!

Part of nature...

Oh this breeze :) and that monkey :P!
Is it a movie?

Back down...a panoramic view!

The path....... :)

Have a nice day!

My Grandpa

There he was, teasing me every time I made a silly mistake.
He was always around to pull my sister's legs.
He was an ocean of sporting knowledge: be it cricket, football, tennis or anything in the world.
He was my first Mathematics teacher.
He helped me with the most critical times of my life : admissions, decisions and all...
He took immense pride in me and my achievements, however trivial....
He held my head when my ears were pierced as a child, his shoulder was my pillow and his words my command....
He had a funny way of expressing love, like all men; he never admitted his love but showed immense care...
I love him and would miss him dearly...Now,I am left with memories of long hours of playing non-stop Monopoly with him, his smiling face and his endearing personality and so much more,
My grandpa has lived his life, a full circle of struggle and success, of sorrow and surprise, of joy and jest......

This poem is for him.......

As tear drops silently trickle they wipe off the scars of unsaid words and unexpressed love,
The light wind and the bright azure sky brings with it a message of love and care,
Unveiling the flavours of a life, lived upto its brim and with only joy to share,
You lie there and right here in my heart as a part of my existence,
Those evenings of pleasant rendevous and chess matches,
Those afternoons of heavy lunch and non-stop games,
Those early morning walks in the company of birds,
You have given me those and many more,
To you and to all those who love me I truly belong and through me you shall live long.......
